It was very camp as usual, though I preferred it when Dana International won, or the Finnish death metallers in fright-masks.

We all scored highly, which is not ideal in a drinking game - Russia on the ascendent, which chimes with global energy politics...

It was nice to have my sister and 2 mates round, and to be finally able to relax a bit, now I know my uncle is out of the woods.

the voting could have a drinking game of it's own. You'd drin when an eastern bloc country gives another one 12 points, the cyprus-greece connection, sucking up the hosts and you'd probably have to down a pint when the UK get a point - it's a rarity nowadays.

Wouldn't it be great if the UK set out to find an act next year who offered all 30 items on the list. We'd certainly stand a better chance of winning.
